I know, but its still kind of absurd to order through another vendor and then call, call, call, call and hope you'll be able to get information when you didnt place the order.... But just my opinion.

Also unless they are shipping it directly to the end customer, how are they sure they aren't giving away personal information? There's several reasons only to deal with the order placer.

Just like there are advantages to ordering directly from vendors, like in the off chance something is wrong. Im sure FI would just take care of it without making him go through the shop he ordered through, but other places don't always operate that way.

the only thing I notice different is the tip on previous photos I have seen appear to have diffusion holes in them on the Inside kinda like a muffler, but those are straight through, not sure if they changed the design or if its because those are the prismatic etc and they don't come perforated in the internal wall like the others etc

in a ways, it may be better this way for my northern climate as it won't create areas where moisture can acummulate etc

And Tks again for the great Service, items were very nicely wrapped and when I picked em up, they were in a big box with lots of bubbleswrap, but I threw out the box to more easily carry in the car.

It's because the standard tips are resonated and prismatic are non-resonated

Are resonated tips more likely to rust?

WOW, that a long Lead time.
I'm assuming the TT version would be longer. I'm planning to boost in within couple of years. I can wait but I'm getting bored on the OEM CBE sound. lol

Do the prismatic tips get darker over use? I am concerned somewhat, the original photo/ad of the Z with the CBE and prismatic tips posted looks darker than the pictures Karnak posted. They look more purple, the ones Karnak posted look yellow.

If you are bored with OEM exhaust just go with muffler delete till you decide to boost it then get their full 3" exhaust. I plan on going the same route as you within a year so I just got a muffler delete to make some noise. Sounds damn good tbh.

Both the Prismatic and our Polished tips are stainless steel, so this has nothing to due with rust or moisture build up.

We cannot install resonators within the Prismatic tips because the coating process would ruin the material inside of the resonator.

Our Polished tips will continue to include resonators while our Prismatic tips are non-resonated as described on our website.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Thanks.

Just pick up the 2.5" CBE and sell it when the time comes (if you need a 3" system) These things go like hot cakes in the classified section.
