just go non res'd, if it's too loud for you then you can throw a resonator on there. But I have the CF non res'd and it's not too loud, at cruising speed it's barely louder than stock.

12" Res with either SS or CF cans. Not too loud, Not too quiet, just right. (Especially with headers)

I dunno, the tone was a little high to sound 'mean'. I will say it sounded Good, but not really Mean. You need to get that TT on there to deepen the tone, then it will sound Boss.

I wasn't close enough behind you to get good sounds from it on our cruise, so my vid wouldn't help you much. That's one of the reasons I'm not posting it. :shakes head:

Huck 07-22-2012 07:20 AM

And the other reasons? Explicit? Hahaha

Yea figured we lost the 2 guys with cameras haha

But I will say after hearing a lot of different exhaust on the Z the FI one is pretty deep compared to most which is another reason I love it.

And as for TT I'm still on the fence :(

non-res CF CBE w/ LTH's is the way to go. :driving:

:wtf2:

Yea, the two guys with camera's and radar detectors were at the back of the pack, and LEFT BEHIND! :rofl2:

The organization of the cruise wasn't up to snuff, which the way it was brought up was fine. Just we needed to get lined up outside of that park. And any road like that, you need to hit up before 10am otherwise it's too damn busy.

#540 installed and I literally could not be happier! I'm married, 45 years old and I have been walking around with this perma-grin on my face like a child. The sound is deep and throaty! Sounds so much better than the factory exhaust. The exhaust system was so well built that the installer didn't even really follow the instructions and the fitment was perfect! The tips sit exactly where the factory tips sat, perfect spacing. Seriously, this was the best purchase I've ever made!
