I'd be willing to bet 12" is closer to 18" sound as opposed to non res. I went from having 18 inch res to non res and the difference in noise is very significant.

I speak to guys daily about this dilemma, difference between 12" vs 18" resonators. Its definitely not a decision to lose sleep over as there's not as much of difference between the two(12" vs 18") compared to going non-resonated all together. When going with a resonator in the Xpipe, no matter what, the exhaust will be running through an actual resonator in both pipes indivually, which is a great sound deterrent helping prevent against in cabin drone, yet having ZERO affect on performance. If you're concerned about "too much" noise, I always advise for atleast 12". I personally run Resonated HFCs for the same reason. I wanted a resonator atleast somewhere in the exhaust while NA, but also wanted to be setup for posssssible future Fast Intentions upgrades...aka: TT Last edited by 1cleanZ; 06-06-2014 at 09:16 AM. |

I understand that everyone wants their system and rightfully so! But, every time someone calls in to ask for an update when the lead time is posted right on their invoice, it slows us down. Please remember, we have a small crew. We have been doing this for a long time and you all know that we deliver! Thank you, Tony

962 installed thank you Tony! I have the biggest smile on my face. I scare children, old women, my wife, getting thumbs up from dudes young and old. Resonated test pipes and 12 inch resonators are perfect volume, purr like a kitty and screams like a mad man.

I'm with Tony on his post. The time frame was given if you ordered. Just wait it out. It's not like you can speed it up by any way. You can however very likely slow it down. it's a different story if you have a specific question on set up (which option to get, what to expect, will it work with whatever you already have). That there may require a call. Not exactly correct but "delayed gratification?"
