Tony, I appreciate the time you took for a great response.
I'm gonna talk to a shop and look into having it fixed with the addition of a skid plate. I am on BC coils and not super slammed. I fight giant steel road blocks on a military base daily. Yesterday, the angle wasn't perfect and it raped my can.

Fort Hood has the same above ground barriers that you speak of. If I were any lower, I would have issues with them as well. For future reference, try getting as close as you can to one side and let your outside tires ride over the knuckles that raise the barrier. You should clear that way.
Wait........are they the reverse spike strips or barriers?

IS there an option to have the 2.5'' tdx setup with the cats further away like in the 3'' version? I'm thinking ahead in case I get your system and also have plans for some kind of FI. I understand the the 3'' is preferred but from my understanding, the 2.5'' may be better for torque due to some back pressure. I'm just not a fan of gas fumes and would rather not have to small it or inhale it if I don't have to. Sure I sacrifice some performance but that's something I'm willing to do.

Anybody have a good idea how much louder the fi 18" is compared to the berk cbe?
I currently have the berk cbe and the tone is mild at low rpms, screams at high rpm / wot, and very mild cruising.

Other than cold start i think its a very mild sounding exhaust once broken in. Definitely screams at high rpms but not as loud as the non resonated options due to the lower tone (our ears are usually more sensitive to higher pitches when it comes to cars). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
