#853 here, with first or second week of Dec. delivery date. Anybody know how many they typically build a week?

Last I heard it was 6-9. F.I. is a huge company with lots of things going on, resources have to be diverted from time to time to get things done. For the most part...this is skilled labor so the place probably isn't full of 'undocumented workers'.

#791 installed today....wow, what a sweet sounding exhaust!!! The wait was well worth it!! The deceleration hiss between 2-3k is annoying as hell but I'll learn to deal with it....haven't even had the urge to turn the radio on since I got it installed! :-).

I have a question, if you get the FI cat back exhaust with the 12" resonators and you decide at a later date you would rather have the 18" resonators or none at all, is that section interchangeable or are they different dimensions?

Same dimensions. I'm actually swapping my 18 inch resonated X pipe for non res cause I needz more noise. Talked to tony and he said it should have no problem fitting in. It should be built by the end of the month!

Why not upgrade your cats too? Those have the most affect on the noise levels.

I wanna keep stock cats just to avoid having to get a tune/inspection hassles/emissions. Also it's my dd, if it was just a weekend car I'd probably upgrade them, but I drive a lot. Just personal preference. It's certainly not "quiet" with the 18 inch resonators but I just want a little more sound. Tony also says non res with stock cats is one of his favorite combos sound-wise.

That makes sense, especially if its your DD.

I have 18" resonators, carbon fiber exhaust and I absolutely LOVE it. Like Kfull said, it is certainly not quiet for an 18".

But now I'm starting to get used to the loudness and want it just a little bit louder now lol.
So, I am also thinking about getting a non res X pipe and RHFC from FI.

You can swap that section out or trade it in the classifieds. thats why i went with non-res, if its too loud I can always upgrade

Just got my FI HFC + FI exhaust + stillen g3 intakes installed today. Baseline whp was 287,292,297. After install and tune, 315,317,319. I need to get the file from the tuner, comparable gains in torque. Sounds good, louder than I thought.(18" resonators)
