I have never seen aluminum tubing that thin. I was able to crush it using one hand (turning round in to oval). This intake system was clearly made in china at a cost of no more than $60, then branded and re-sold here at a ridiculous mark up. Just some food for thought I guess.
So your saying the aby one isnt a bad idea?

The one you linked has the diameter transition too close (before) to the MAF sensor, so it may cause problems. Hard to say without testing.

However, the K&N intakes don't follow the rules either when it comes to having a flow sensor/meter inside a tube, so it may be fine.
