So I finally got my custom crash beam installed and took a pic of my intake setup (Stillen Gen 3's with velocity stacks on the end and K&N filters). I call them spider fangs...

Enjoy!

:pics: of the velocity stacks would be nice to see.

That look really nice, if you dont mind how much was that to be made, is there a plan to mass produce them, and how much more does it weigh vs the stock bar.

The stacks are on the end of the intakes. I can have more braces made for 275 plus shipping each. BPI makes the stacks. Car made 312rwhp SAE with these intakes, test pipes and catback tuned by Z1. The bar weighs about the same as stock. It is plate steel flanges and a tubular steel 0.120 wall beam.

Very nice!

Sweet infor & you get an extra 10hp from the crach beam too.

Got 5-6 from the velocity stacks. No clue on how much from the crash beam, probably zero though thinking logically... ;)

 You wouldn't get any hp from the crash beam big guy. I was just bullsh*tting on the hp.

What's the advantage of installing a custom crash beam?

Do we know what sort of difference this bar will make in the event of a head on collision vs the stock bar? HP is HP but still, personal safety should always be paramount in the art of modding.
