Installed Invidia Gemini CBE last weekend
So I installed my Invidia CBE last weekend and as expected I had some smoke and a "burning" smell for some time while it was breaking in. I'm noticing a week later that after some "spirited" driving there was some smoke and a burning smell again. anyone know if this is normal? I never had this happen on my other cars so I'm starting to worry a little.
No CELs btw and car runs fine. Anyone care to offer their thoughts? |

Based on my experience with new exhausts , that seems perfectly normal for a bit of smell and smoke for about a week. But def not as much as you are saying |

It's not a lot of smoke anymore but there is definitely some smoke and a burning smell. |

It is common for this to happen. I know when I first got my Nismo it had that smell & you could see a little bit of smoke from the exhaust. The same goes with a new exhaust, but will go away after you start pulling the miles on it.
