However, it's probably a fair amount of cash to have those fixed, so it's how much can you live with or afford to spend again.

Definitely look into a little driving finesse though, these cars are *short*, it's quite the skill the back into a curb like this!

Possibly related, something i noticed since moving here, why do so many American drivers, park with the front or rear overhang of the car, hanging over the curb?! It's bizarre, the parking spaces are huge here!

Lol ya I hear you man. I wasn't actually backing into a spot though... I was backing out so I could straighten up...but the thing is , the genious that designed the curb had one section extending out several feet further than the rest. I didn't see this in my mirror and I was looking at the other section of the curb which was farther away.... so yeah I was pretty ******* pissed off

Thnxs....... No I completely agree & I am an OCD SOB. On another note at least the exhaust isn't titanium. If so one would be in serious trouble. There are really three things that can be done here. First, leave as is & deal with it. Second, is try to fix or cover it up. Third, is get another one & it is also the most expensive option. In the end it just boils down to how much & how bad does it really bother you? Once again babbagandu sorry this has happened to you.

a car cornered me in a parking lot and wouldn't budge. I ended up scraping my right rear mud flap. can't see it unless you're under the car, and it's on the inside, so not even attentive passersby can see it unless they specifically look for it. got mild curb rash too. drives me insane, but I got used to it. even all the chips on the front bumper and the big chip on my rear bumper drive me crazy. it's going to happen, though.
