Out of curiosity is anyone getting this exhaust while staying N/A?

djtodd 01-26-2014 01:20 PM

Doubtful. I wouldn't recommend it either

kfull 01-26-2014 01:23 PM

Yea, I wasn't sure what the implications of it would be. Was just curious

Not enough back pressure for an NA V6. 2.5" dual or a single 3" is the biggest you'd want to go IMO

My FI exhaust has been sitting in a box for a few months in my basement. There has been too much snow on the ground (Calgary) so I haven't been able to drive my car to the shop. I can't wait to get it installed with my new down pipes (w/ external waste-gates). Currently I have Berk HFC and Stillen CBE.

Once I get everything taken care of I will provide a review for this FI exhaust as well. However at this point I can comment on the service I experienced with Tony. My experience with FI started when I called Tony a few minutes after his shop closed but that didn't prevent him from wanting to look after a potential customer. After an hour+ on the phone Tony remained enthusiastic to talk about any questions that I had about his products and the 370Z in general. Seldom have I experienced Tony's level of service from a vendor. It's been a pleasure dealing with Fast Intentions- Thank You Tony

As Terrible pointed out, this system for an NA car would be detrimental to the low end and mid range performance. You might pick up a few HP up top but the trade off everywhere else would not justify running it.

Not to mention without modification it will not bolt up to any existing cat or test pipe on an NA car.

Thanks, Tony

I managed to mount the 3" exhaust with custom test pipes from aam. I got tired of having them sit in my basement for over a year so it was a temporary experiment until I have enough for the twin turbo kit. I plan on installing an intake plenum soon. As soon as I get it I'll get it tuned and give everyone an update for curiosity's sake. I'm sure I'll get bashed on but the exhaust is absolutely insane.

This will fit AAM TT 3" downpipes rite?
