Default Beginner needs advice!

First of all: I donīt really know anything about exhausts, intakes etc......I hope you guys can help me. I read in a lot of reviews that the stock 370z has a very conservative, unemotional or even boring sound. My question is: Is there a possibility to leave the exterior, or exhaust sound, as it is and at the same time accentuate the sound that you here in the cockpit? Unfortunately the 370z is not yet available in my country.

Thanks in advance!

not really...you'd need a louder exhaust if you want to hear it more in the car

^^ why the bizarre answers...lol...just get an axle back exhaust....sounds like stock and louder...or just put HFC's on the stock exhaust and call it a day

Exactly what I thought. +1

To the OP - maybe remove some of the interior sound deadening?

Thank you onethreefive for cleaning this thread up.

Even though I didn't get a chance to see what went on (I can if I want to), I will still remind everyone to read the forum rules again. Personal attacks, make fun of a member because of their question etc are not allowed here. There are plenty of forums on the net that allows such behavior. The370Z.com is NOT one of them.

Thanks for understanding and I hope you guys understand where we are coming from.

onethreefive, if he does that, he will hear more road noise...that isnt good.

put HFC's on the stock exhaust or put an axle back system....either or is the only way for a good rumble sound to hear it

Problem is, he wants it to sound the same on the outside.
Onethreefive's idea is good, as long as the OP doesn't mind the sound of road noise as well. He might not mind since he wants to hear more sound in the cockpit.

he'll come to realize my way is best.......new exhaust FTW

taking apart the Z for more noise...not worth it.

maybe the OP thinks aftermarket exhausts are too loud and will distrub neighbours or something

Maybe. Hopefully he will chime in as to why he doesnt want a louder outside note. There are many options he can go with if he is concerned about exhaust being too loud.

Did you guys notice he's in Germany? My guess is that he has to deal with more stringent regulations than we do here.

My post was a genuine solution to getting the exhaust note to the interior - if you use a mic and amplify it with the speakers that would give you a louder exhaust note inside but not affect the stock sound. That's the only viable solution I can think of....
