Berk hfc?!

I just bought BERK HFC.... The mechanic says that i really dont need these HFC because the one currently on the car is a HFC. He says the stock is

Exclamation Berk hfc?!
I just bought BERK HFC.... The mechanic says that i really dont need these HFC because the one currently on the car is a HFC. He says the stock is a HFC.... I dont know what to do??? Is there much of a difference??

he'll probably snap the top bolts on the factory cats, but the new cat's come with gaskets/new set of bolts anyway

The stock cats are not high flow. Did you buy this car used? If so it's possible the previous owner could have changed them. Or the mechanic could just be dumb.

i have berk hfc w/ stock exhaust and it def makes a big difference, took it to a shop to install it. took awhile for them to install since stock cat bolts were stripped off
