Do not think that the gasses that have passed through a cat Vs those that have not, are that different to your health, they're all pretty bad.

Ladies and gentleman, I present the first meistschaft cat back + ART pipe combo ever. The results suck IMO. But nonetheless, here it is. There is a link in the description to my pre test pipe sound clip. Both videos were taken in almost the exact same spot, under the same conditions, with the same camera. My camera is pretty high quality and the sound is damn near spot on. It really is this loud in person, possibly louder. IMO the test pipes ruin the sound of the meisterschaft. It takes the richness away. The ART pipes were a long shot. I'll probably get a new exhaust now, as I actually like the test pipes. Since I was so impressed with the engineering of the test pipes, I'm highly considering the shockwave exhaust system.

Also, I have no clue what the white smoke is, maybe you experts can chime in on that. My car is essentially brand new, and it wasn't like this pre test pipe install.

As i posted on your YT, the white 'smoke' is normal, it's because the cats aren't there being very hot and removing the moisture more quickly. (exhaust will run hotter with cats)

As for the sound, bare in mind the first vid is warmer and more in line with the exhaust gasses, however, the same sound is there, but you've literally hit the difference between the sound of an engine, and the sound that an un-catted engine makes. I think it sounds pretty good, but get out there and drive it before you decide on it.

I'm going to keep my exhaust for now. I want to see what it sounds like while driving. As we all know the sound is very different while driving. But that might takes some months at the rate wisconsin is going atm. Last year I was on the road by now. This year is just a bit colder.

I just put on an axle back version and it sounds great, not too loud but a lot more grunt than stock. Unfortunately, there are some fitment problems with the tips. I took it to a local shop to confirm that everything is lined up and installed correctly and they agreed that the passenger side tip is just too long. I contacted Meisterschaft earlier today but haven't heard back. Since it's just clamped on I'm assuming they'll swap out the pipe/tip for one that is the proper length and all will be well.

Here's a couple pics. Notice the passenger side sticks out about a solid inch past the bumper and the driver side is flush.

Here two video of Meisterschaft axle-back that I bought first last year then bought mid-section from AAM. I believe Meisterschaft mid-section is 3" pipe which I could not afford a full mid-section along with axle-back. I opt to get 2.5" AAM mid-section. Enjoy the video.

Meisterschaft Axle-back (3.0" pipe) 2x102mm (Round Split Tips)
Factory Mid-Section/Y-Pipe (2.25" Pipe)
Factory HFC (High Flow Catted)

So, something the vid's I've seen of cat deletes don't show is the car's ECU adjusting to the change.

The exhaust is actually sounding better every time I turn the car on. I need to take it outside, reset the ECU, and let it idle for awhile.

True, but interesting about the rear section along with stock mid-section/stock HFC do sound better and smoother without loudness.

I believe that if I run with rear section with aftermarket mid-section (2.5 inches vs 3" Meisterschaft mid-section) and HFC will sound much better without loudness of roar.

As for now I am running on stock HFC, every time I slowly rev the engine to hear the tune of GT Haus, it don't sound too smooth, I need to replace stock HFC so it will sound better.

120mm round tip, wish I knew earlier about this but I ordered it from Vivid Racing. It be nice to have 2013 Nissan GTR exhaust tips, it look so nice.

Also, I have been bugging GT Haus to make a 120mm round tip for this setup for a while (I have a Nismo and don't want to loose the look of the 120mm tips....). Anyways, they said they would do it - and the price they quoted isn't bad (considering it would be custom fab), but I know they could make it cheaper if enough people wanted it.

If anyone is interested in a 120mm round tip setup - let them know.

NEED HELP..!!

I'm fitting the GTM Stage II Twin Turbo Kit, 3"dowpipes with external recirculating wastegates and high flow cats..

I was SET on getting the GTM Spec 3" Catback with Quad Tips (Project White Dragon) but after YouTubing exhausts, came across the Meisterschaft and fell in love..

It would have to be 3" the whole way if I do go with it, but now after reading everyone's comments, I'm worried it could completely alter the note, for the worse..

The Meisterschaft would save me having to alter the rear bar but I don't wanna destroy what they've engineered into getting a Zed to sound like that..

So, should I stick with the GTM Quads OR go a 3" Meisterschaft Catback..?

Any advice, help or opinions would be MUCH appreciated..

Thanks guys..
