200$ sounds alright for both of them.. Especially given the demon bolt (which they probably dont know about yet!)

I paid 4 hours of labor and a sore back from lying underneath the car... the only hard part is getting the OEM bolts off.
But i'd take $150 if i didin't know how to turn a wrench.

Thanks guys! I was just reading on that demon bolt.... yikes... I would love to do it myself but i hear that it would void the warranty if the product if not installed by a professional. Is that true?

Smells like hot garbage being burned and blown up your arse. Don't fret about warranty issues because you decided to do it yourself. I would also agree $150 is a good tradeoff for the removal of those demon bolts.

in any event the dealer must prove that the specific mod is the cause of a problem. Even then if they did you can swap factory part back and get it fixed there and or another dealer!

When I called my Nissan dealer last week about installing the Berk HFCs, he said that he would rather not, just in case. He didn't want to deal with the EPA or feds if it ever came down to that. They also said that if I did it myself or had "Bubba" do it, it was out of sight, out of mind and they did not have a problem with that. Funny, but they did mention that there was a very good muffler shop locally that would install the HFCs that they could recommend, and the shop's name was Bubba's .

Baker Nissan has a department at their 290 location called Baker Turning which they do everything. Hell they have people buy a new car & mod it at the same time. These guys do not care & they are pretty cool/laid back people. I think they charge either $220 or $240 to install an exhaust & the smae for a CAI.
