HFC + CBE install pricing???
Hey guys,
Is $150 a good price for a BERK HFC + ARK CBE install? Thats what the mechanic quoted me... Midas offered to do it for $200... |
200$ sounds alright for both of them.. Especially given the demon bolt (which they probably dont know about yet!)
|
yeah sounds about right. I paid $140 for my install.
|
$150 isn't to bad at all
|
I paid 4 hours of labor and a sore back from lying underneath the car... the only hard part is getting the OEM bolts off.
But i'd take $150 if i didin't know how to turn a wrench. :driving: |

Thanks guys! I was just reading on that demon bolt.... yikes... I would love to do it myself but i hear that it would void the warranty if the product if not installed by a professional. Is that true?

NO NO NO. complete bs. nissan doesnt care if midas did it, or bubba in his backyard. the only parts that get voided are the parts u take off (stock CBE). that dealer is full of bs |

in any event the dealer must prove that the specific mod is the cause of a problem. Even then if they did you can swap factory part back and get it fixed there and or another dealer! |

you get the occasional dealer thats is anal about mods and working on cars with them but hey their loss and on to the next one! |
I would pay $150 to have someone put an entire exhaust system on for me. Hell I would probably pay $200, but no more than that.
|
Man i wish my dealer was as bad *** as that one :icon18:!
|
Baker Nissan has a department at their 290 location called Baker Turning which they do everything. Hell they have people buy a new car & mod it at the same time. These guys do not care & they are pretty cool/laid back people. I think they charge either $220 or $240 to install an exhaust & the smae for a CAI.
