GTM 3" catback with test pipes

Next year, i'm hoping to order and install a GTM twin turbo kit on my 370Z. In addition to the turbo's, i want to install the GTM 3" catback exhaust with test pipes, possibly this summer. If i install the exhaust before the turbos are in, how bad will it hurt the torque? Can I expect to see a big decrease in power due to the oversized exhaust?

i heard you'll loose back pressure and you'll loose some torque too

I would expect to lose a little on the bottom end and maybe gain a little on the top. I'm mostly concerned about it really affecting the drivability.

why not wait to install it when the turbos are out??

I'm slowly buying up all the pieces for this massive build-up. I don't think i could stand having it sit boxed up in the garage!

well, you can always put it on and if you loose too much...put the stocks back on...and leave the GTM one in the box.

That's true. Plus it gives me another reason to work on the Z, again!

fun to take parts on then off then on again....it will keep you busy and you'll know how to install them faster when the big day comes for the turbos.

I can always use a good excuse to pull the tools back out.
