Vid Request: FI Unresonated
 

What's up all... I'm in search of Fast Intentions unresonated with stock cats. I'm just wondering what the sound would be before I pull the trigger w Tony.

I'll be keeping the stock cats.

Oh and I've searched... So don't gimme crap for that. LOL

I have the non-resonated. It sounds awesome and beastly. The sound was a bit louder and more droney when I first installed it but after maybe 600 miles or so it broke in and now there is zero drone and zero rasp (there was never rasp to begin with). Just a loud mean exhaust note.

I will try to record a vid sometime this weekend and post it up.

We just installed two of this combination in the past week. Sound wise it is my favorite.

I personally do not have any sound clips but I am sure there are many on YouTube.

You missed me by 2 days. I was running that set-up for the last week waiting to get my Nismo in for my LTH install. I have to say I loved the sound. There was a bit of drone (very little) when cruising on the highway. Maybe this would have gone away after a few hundred miles, I just don't know. Also, the notorious VQ hiss that everyone talks about wasn't even noticeable.

As for vids of this setup on youtube, good luck. It seems like every youtube vid is either resonated or includes HFC's/Test Pipes.

Thats the set up that I ordered. I think that you are going to be really happy with it. I only have the Stillen G3's to go with it before going to a TT system.

Yeah the drone would have gone away. I had the same thing with mine for the first few hundred miles but now it's gone

That is great news. I hate that hissing. Tony is installing my non-res carbon fiber on the 20th :ughdance:

I have never heard of anyone getting a hiss from just a catback. I thought it is there only when the stock cats are removed

That was my understanding as well.

I wasn't sure, I just know I hate the hiss & was anticipating hearing it.
