i have the exact same problem, the car sucks down low, but screams up top. i would love to get a dyno tune. but imo spending $700 to buy and uprev tuner + $300 for a dyno tune is completely ridiculous to gain a slight bit of torque back and a little throttle response. i kno i probably will go that route some day, but i just think $1000 is a real kick in the nuts to pick up 10whp and slightly clean up my afr's...

I have always thought of doing an engine tuning after full bolt-ons as serving two purposes. First, to eek that last bit of performance left on the table and secondly, to bring the car back to running at optimal efficiency, i.e. not to rich, not to lean.

I thought the same thing regarding the price. I asked my local UpRev tuner and he charged me 600 for the license + the custom tune. Do most local tuners do stuff like this and package it all together for cheap? Because I was surprised but i'm not going to argue with that price Sorry to go off topic. I just thought I would let you know I was debating the same thing but then that happened :P

The cobb helped my drivability and felt much smoother. I might have a map that was made by another member here, but I'll have to find it.

That would be awesome depending on what mods it was setup for.

I ran the map on a similar set up, maf tubes, drop ins, tp, and cbe. Ran fine and the drivability was much more responsive. You can always monitor afrs through your ap to check if it's safe. Pm me your email address, I'll check tonight

You only need the tuner version if the shop isn't a licensed uprev protuner, any of the shops that are offering package deals like that are uprev protuners and just flash the license onto the ecu and tune it, this is good because its cheaper but bad because you don't get the uprev cipher cable to datalog etc. ($200 from uprev) You also can't flash the vehicle back to stock and sell the License/cable used later on if the shop does it. Tuner versions will sell for $5-600 and Standard $400ish in the marketplace.

If you want to pick up a copy of Osiris tuner PM me, I've got one I'll sell you for a lot less than $700

Road trip Edub if you go to a tuner it wont cost you a $1000 bucks for Uprev.

Uprev license cost $300 bucks then you would pay labor for how long it takes to tune your car. So let's say a shop might charge $125 a hour to tune your car,and spend 2 hours. Your out the door for $550.

A Uprev tuner kit is cost $700 because it's for a do it your self allows you to tune plus data log.
