aFe is proud to introduce a new Takeda Attack Cold Air Intake System for the Nissan 370Z 09-12 V6-3.7L. In recent testing this Takeda "Attack" cold air intake produced 15 horsepower and 16 lbs. x ft. torque, while outflowing the factory intake by 35%. The placement of the unique single air filter specifically designed to fit flawlessly in the area in front of the radiator guarantees a supply of cool, high pressure fresh air for maximum power gains. This Takeda performance air intake system uses a unique dual flange filter design engineered to maximize surface area and flow.
Not sure about the design. But it looks like you don't have to trim the rad support... |

Looks like you have to extend the MAF sensor wires closer to the TB as well.

Does anyone know if the filter has some sort of end cap in the center of the single filter or if it is open straight through? I can't imagine that a straight through filter that is attached to two seperate dynamic vacuum sources from oposing ends would be ideal from a fluidynamics standpoint. Maybe a mechinal engineer that is up on thier fluids could chime in. I have not messed with fluids since college.

aFe Performance Air Intakes for Nissan - Takeda Cold Air Intake 2009-2012 Nissan 370Z 3.7 V6 has it for a little cheaper, $483.
That being said, I would imagine these produce similar gains as the stillen. I bet after tuning both intakes independently, the difference will be tiny. |
