Default AEM cold air ETI intake 41-1001c question

Has anyone installed this air intake on their 2010 Z Touring? I read the PDF file for the instructions and I see they want you to cut the wires and make new connections for the window washer pump and level sensor.
I didn't really want to cut anything so I could put it back to original if needed.
Has anyone tried to make the connection with out cutting and if so how did you do it and what parts did you use.

I installed this on my car a few weeks ago. I'm sure a connector could be found that would make this kit a bit more plug and play but I just went ahead and cut the wires. It's only 2 wires and as long as you keep the original connector it could easily be returned to stock.

exactly what he said. Kinda dont like it but you need it if you want to make the washer tank work.
