That's cool, I never knew that before. We actually have some functional carbon fiber on our cars

Lol, Good god red I wasn't interpreting anything. He was referring to the original post, which I thought meant exactly what you said. The percentage increase over the Dyno number, not the 20% loss.

I don't think it's even accurate way of determining actual drivetrain loss. I prefer using the rated flywheel hp, baseline Dyno and new Dyno number

332/baseline Dyno=x/new Dyno number

Lol, I never said you were wrong by the way. So easy to get under your skin isn't it?

You aren't under my skin. You "corrected" someone and provided bad information. I Simply explained why he was correct and you were not.

Oh dear god! It seems like I did. Ha! whatever:p. Not worth my time explaining. I was simply explaining he was referring to the original math, not yours.

I'm saying he says the OP was saying 20% but they were using 25%. Does it make sense now?
73 hp difference over 292 Dyno result equals 25%

red6spd 03-13-2012 06:50 PM

Is it me or does Red_Zed seem to be involved in 99.9% of the arguments on this thread?

Which is a 20% drivetrain loss, as he states.

This thread is about these dyno numbers and the results claimed by the shop. Our discussion is entirely related.
