Fast intentions LTH and cat-back owners step in.
Ok I'm going with the fast intentions LTH and tdx cat-back. My concern is with the resonator options. I want the exhaust to be aggressive and I can tolerate a moderate amount of drone. For those of you with the headers and the 18" resonators, do you wish that you had gone with the 12" ones or none at all? I'm just concerned that the 18" resonators will make it too quiet.

I had the LTH+12" res and I enjoyed it but it did get to me after awhile, one reason I had them removed.
Now also on that my rear hatch was gutted and became an echo chamber which added to the sound level. If I did it again I would like to try the 18" with LTH.

I've actually already ordered the entire system with the 18" resonators. I was just wanting some input about the fact that if someone had the same setup did they regret the fact that the 18"s make it too quite

I currently have the F.I. LTH's and 18" resonated SS CBE. I love it. It's a good balance between volume (no rasp) and quiet (idle). Here is the link to my youtube channel so you can see my vids.

I have the LTH's w/ cbe with no resonators. I personally love the very aggressive sound and in my opinion it only gets loud when you step on it (Then again I might've gotten so use to it since I drive it everyday) The only thing that bothered me like hell in the beginning was the infamous VQ hiss sound. Once I found out it was normal I just got use to it. If I could go back I would've made the same choice.

I order my set up last week with 18s res but after doing a little more research and hearing the 12s I rather go with the 12s just me I like more aggressive sound =)) IMO

I had no idea the hiss was normal until reading this thread. I installed F.I. LTH and CBE and thought something went wrong with the installation when I heard the hissing sound.

That sounds fantastic. I heard no raspiness and sounded like it can blow the fur off a cat. My PPE's have so much rasp, you'd think I had a baseball card stuck in my spokes. I think if I had a second chance at spending the money that I did, I would say screw the cat I was trying so hard to get back on and do F.I. I spent $2800 for mine and I could have gotten this for the same. I'm even thinking of getting rid of the cat and adding a 3rd resonator just to make the rasp go away!
