Tune needed?
Berk CBE + Z1 post-MAF + Cosworth Drop-in filters.
I don't think a tune is needed, but want to make sure noone has run lean with this type of setup. |
I would say no. But if you have the extra coin, go for it.
My car has Gen 3's, Berk HFC and CBE. After I did the installs, I thought the car was running very good but I decided to get a tune anyways just to make sure everything was set-up to work at its full potential. Base line with mods was 300 whp, after tune 306 whp. They say the tune is good for between 5-15 hp, so there is a possibility that you might be able to squeeze a few more HP's out of your current set-up and know that everything is optimized to work as best as it can be. |
If you just have drop-ins and a cbe you don't need a tune. Even if you add TP/HFC with drop ins you shouldn't need a tune since the post maf tubes don't change the stock MAF location like long tubes do.
