F.I CBE + what test pipes/HFC?
 

Hi everyone :hello:

I'm wondering which test pipes/HFCs nets the most gains with FI cbe.. here's what i have in mind :

1. F.I Resonated test pipes
2. ART Pipes
3. Berks

Can anyone suggest? I want the best and most gains with this combo. thanks :tiphat:

if your gonna pick up an F.I exhaust get the test pipes from Tony too! I believe there is a discount when purchasing both. I loved this combo on my G37!!

All 3 are going to give you comparable power gains so that is a mute point, there are only so many ways you can bend a straight pipe to make it work.

The primary difference between these is going to be Sound. The ART Pipes will effect the tone of the sound, I don't believe the Berks are resonated? Or if they are then there won't really be a big difference between those or F.I.'s.

But it does kind of sound better when you're purchasing an F.I. CBE, to get the F.I. RTP with it at the same time... :icon17:

I've been think of this too! Tony def give me a discount on the FI CBE+FI RTP combo.. but the ART pipe's price looks decent too..ughh i'm in love with both lol :p F.I's RTP def sounds good but like what Chris said, the ART ones do tone the sounds and i like em' too! :tup:

Can anyone post a vid with these combinations?

With exhaust vids, honestly you're not going to be able to notice a difference as well than in person. Especially since most vids are done with less than high quality audio (phone cams/mics) so getting the truest sound will really come from finding people locally that have the setup's in question and let them demonstrate them for you. Of coruse, that's being that there are people who have those setups there.

A quick youtube search for the parts you're looking for will get you started though. Just remember most of those vids are going to be Dyno runs and/or driveby's...

Oh snap, i forgot that most of the vids were recorded with mobile phones and such..none with professional microphones :shakes head: i guess i'll just listen them with my brother's headphone and hope for the best :tup:

With them all being basically resonated test pipes, the sound is not going to be 'drastically' different from one to the next. However if we were discussing HFC's, this would be the case as F.I. and Berk HFC's surprisingly do not sound the same.

Of course, there is always the option of ordering yourself a set of F.I. LTH's which are pure sex sounding. :yum:

I would if i could! but i regret telling you this, the FI's LTH does not fit RHD Z :shakes head: poor us RHD Z owners..

All it takes is a call to Tony about getting a set made for RHD Z's. :tup:

Unfortunately he can't..my friend and i have contacted him, in fact, my friend sent him pictures of what's exactly under the 370Z on lift. Tony said that he needs to have the actual model with him to make one :shakes head:
