New Style Takeda Attack Intakes $400 - Got mine!

I think the point of cutting when installing takedas is so that the silicon tubes have more room going through the opening and don't need to be deformed as much.

I think the point of cutting when installing takedas is so that the silicon tubes have more room going through the opening and don't need to be deformed as much. Just makes the flow of air more smooth. Obviously you don't NEED to cut anything hence why they used silicon tubes in the first place.

Didn't know you could easily unbolt the whole thing, they also provide some support for the tubes so that they don't rest directly on AC lines.

Was just pointing out where one might cut if they wanted to.

Would you recommend doing this for the takeda intakes? Any difference in power?

There should be no reason for the tubes to be resting on any lines... between the filter mounted to that bracket and the tubes at the engine, the intake is fairly firmly mounted.

Cool. Was just saying why and where someone may want to cut.
