You don't cut. The piece you are trying to get the silicone hose through is removed. Only a bolt or 2 to do it. I should say pieces... One on

You don't cut. The piece you are trying to get the silicone hose through is removed. Only a bolt or 2 to do it. I should say pieces... One on each side.

Installed mine Wednesday, took about an hour and wasn't bad at all. I would recommend cleaning the inside of the pipes before installation, mine had a lot of "sludge" on the inside of the metal pipes from the factory. I'm rather pleased with the butt dyno results, nothing extreme but the gains are noticable.

Some tips for installation.

The filter sits slightly towards the passenger side. So keep the rubber elbow on the driver side out towards the bumper a bit more to accommodate the extra distance you will need.

Another tip, install the MAFs before you do anything lol.

Other than that, nothing more then the tips already provided in this thread.

you ever get that dyno tune on the comparison to the gen 3?

deciding between these or the Injens, any thoughts on the differences or air flow locations
