Especially since md isnt showing the gains that other exhausts are... BUT... definately has the best sound of any system out IMO

agreed. I'm surprised there haven't been more dyno comparisons posted now.

As for the difference in cost. 1) Its made in the Los Angeles, USA. 2) Its taken to a much higher level of polishing. Its not just quickly buffed. They go through 4 stages of finishing to achieve a deep polish. 3) Its taken to a much higher level of TIG welding. 4) It uses triple layered flex lines for flexibility without turbulence or whistling. 5) It uses V-band flanges and clamps. 6) It uses predominantly dual 3" Stainless Steel 304 tubing (for greater power capacity in the 8-15 PSI boost applications). 7) It is modular so it can have additional resonators or HFC's built into the mid pipes. 8) It can easily be converted to a full dual 3" exhaust for very high HP capacity. 9) It comes with 2 different pairs of adjustable/removable titanium and Stainless tips for different looks. No other 370Z exhaust can do all this. The above are real cost drivers for features not seen in any other exhaust. The Shockwave))) E370 is the best exhaust available to the 370Z. . |

My order going in soon.
Also, the gains on this exhaust are about the same as other open exhausts, once it's straight through, like this is, there will be little in it, it's all down to quality/design/sound at that point. I've never seen anyone with the Shockwave V2 have any drone/hiss/rasp/boom. Perfect, it let's me cruise to work and have fun at the weekends The lost you mentioned, edub, was not a comparative dyno, it can't be compared that way. |

I installed the Shockwave exhaust with the ART pipes and the M370 plenum. Tuned it with UpRev Osiris on a dynopack, i ended up at 359hp/298 trq. I also have Stillen headers and Stillen Gen3 CAI

I'm not running this exhaust. I'm currently down on hp with the MD intake manifold, but my dyno tests need rerun with the same fuel. Just wanted to prevent any confusion. The only MD exhaust piece I'm running is their XYZ Y pipe with a cat and it's working great.

how many tip options are there?
my buddy has the 4.5" rolled burn tips on his white g35 I'm considering this car in either blue or grey and wonder what tips would look good (most likely rolled, polished, 4.5"??) Not really digging the huge 5" tips, and burn tips on blue looks weird to me |
