Got Stillen G3 Longtube intake & Exhaust.. What next?
I've got the Stillen Gen. 3 Longtube intake system with the Stillen exhaust system and i need some adive on what to get next.... Thinking about the stillen headers and not sure about what test pipe or hfc to put on... Any suggestions? Thanks guys

I say get headers/test pipes when tuning is regularly available.
However, if you are worried about backpressure and low-end torque, stick with HFC's. Berk would be a good choice. |
Another way to gain a little performance if you don't want to mod the exhaust [yet] is to get rid of some spinning mass. I recommend light weight U/D pulley and/or lighter wheels and tires if you haven't done that. Dropping weight on the wheel/tire combo makes a pretty noticeable difference.

Sorry to Hijack, but I was going to ask the same question. I have the G3 intakes and Stillen Exhaust installed. Also getting the Stillen pulley and grounding kit done tomorrow.
cant get the HFCs or headers because they arent CARB legal in CA (damn you CA!), so I was wondering what else I could do to my Z? |
You could do some minor upgrading of the brakes if you're so inclined. Like braided lines, for instance. Those things make a huge difference in brake pedal feel. Firms 'em right up! Switch the brake fluid over to Motul RBF600 while you're at it.

Berk HFCs really open up the exhaust.

Keep the stock stuff somewhere, and in 5 years just swap the old back in, smog test, swap back out! :D |
