Any kit that relocates the reservoir will have this problem unless the wiring harness can reach it, and it uses the stock plastic box. Otherwise you'll have to figure out how to get the sensor mounted in the aftermarket reservoir, which is what I'm considering. I don't care if it leaks a little as long as it doesn't always show the warning.
I was hoping there was a way to simply disable it from the menu, but I haven't been able to find any info about it. |

I just ordered mine. Can you just add some length of wire to the level sensor to mske it reach and be long enough? Guess I'll find out when I get it installed. I assume it just two wires and adding length should not be a problem. I'll post pics as I do it. My bad I see that you have to use the new fluid tank and the sensor has to go in it. I suppose you could either short the wires together or cut them, if it's designed to be a normally open or closed circuit. That's easy to do. Plus it's reversible.

Seems like a logical fix, lengthening the wires to the sensor or tricking the sensor. Does anyone know if the Stillen G3 has this issue with the washter sensor, since I have not heard of anyone mentioning thisa?
I think it is unfortunate that NISMO went to all the trouble to design this intake then not take care of the washer sensor... In any case, I am going to wait until I buy an intake, esp. since I live in CA. But I am eager to hear how it performs for you guys. |

I have yet to see anyone complain about relocating the the washer reservoir with the stillens. The Only thing that i don't like about the stillens is the grinding to the make the wholes bigger on the plastic pieces up front..... Which was one of the reasons i was thinkin of goin with Takeda just cause 100% direct fitment but no dyno #'s out yet for the Takeda either. Stillen is proven at the moment to make the biggest gains.

It would be nice to see comparison dyno's on all of the intakes with corresponding exhaust mods, that would make a nice sticky. ...I am still a little skeptical about Stillens G3 published gains versus the simple K&N drop ins +/- MAF tubes just as good (or close to +/- a few ponies) with a CBE, and/or HFC or TP .... and those are direct fit too.. Anyway just thinking out loud |

Takeda has 2 versions, a short and long tube one. Long tube is the one i was talkin about. Filter would be the only reason i see it not makin as much power but if the difference was big enough (which is not likely) from stillen, then i would just swap to better filters.
