Default intriguing new NISMO R-Tune intake

It seems nissan snuck up on us with a new performance part and it looks promising. Even though Rtune products don't fall under warranty. R tune R&D is excellent and custom pieces like body braces, brake pads and and sway bars are top quality parts. The picing is competitive with the gen 3 and looks like it has better positioning. I can't tell if the front bumper has to be removed or not cuz it doesn't say. But if you can change the filters without removing the bumper and risking the integrity of your front bumper??? It will definately be worth it.

I plan on it... it just won't be till summer. Right now I'm just running mishimoto hoses and k&n filter but I will get some of these soon. I hope someone does it before me though so I know.

I think this intake has been out for a couple years now. I remember seeing something about it back in 2009-2010? It's a US-Only part, I think.

There's a guy here who tested the prototype.

I saw something similar a while back, but later clarified to be for the 350. It was also a short ram. I haven't seen this one before and it certainly looks promising.

Does it actually make power? I thought the ones for the 350 kinda sucked and were way over priced?

I guess that's my point. CAI for this car is pricey. I thought the one for my Challenger was a lot at $199 LOL

It's bent tube and some filters.

I think this came up before I tried searching the forums and couldn't find the thread.

This looks almost exactly like the AEM intake I just installed. These will definitely take air from the same place judging by the relocation of the washer reservoir. In fact the reservoir and brackets pictured look identical to the AEM units. The only difference I see between these and the AEM intakes is the placement of the MAF (AEM places the maf very near the intake filters) and the addition of water bypass valves. With that being said, front bumper will not need to be removed to service filters, but wheels and inner fender liners will need to be.
