I have Stillen CBE with stock cats and K&N drop in. I love the sound and the additional hp.

Changing it to FI TDX 18 resonator this weekend. I will update my reviews next week.

Stillen CBE is now for sale btw.

Im pretty happy with my FI 18'' SS cat-back. Its paired up with the ERZ HFCs. I am lowered on Swifts and have no issues with scraping as long as I take an angle on certain driveways. The drone is a bit annoying when cruising, and the HFCs hiss on deceleration. I have been considering swapping out my HFCs for the ART pipes but Im not sure how much of the drone/hiss that would eliminate. Any thoughts?

There was a thread posted that said he still droned and got the hissing sound...

I don't think single mid-pipe or dual pipe make a huge difference, but single pipe is def lighter than the dual pipe. And the price is amazing! I like their slide on burnt titanium tip option. I just wish the tips are bigger. And the fitment is really good. And I wouldn't complain if they decide to make dual pipes and im probably gonna get it. does that answer you question? oh and i went to a drag strip after I got my CBE and improved 0.3 sec. But I also need new tires.

Cool thanks. Yes that answers my question but does anyone have specific numbers to indicate there are gains to be had with the Top Speed exhaust? Sound is subjective so I'm not considering that. Some people like loud others like quiet.

Any hard numbers with the TopSpeed CBE?

Can I ask why you're going to F.I. if you like the gains and the sound? What else is there to like?

Better gains and sound! ;)

I know somebody posted a dyno chart on here. I'll post the link when I find it!

I mean some exhausts have a little more HP/TQ gain than others, but really, the differences are not significant. If you are looking for power gain, get the full bolt on (intake, headers, HFC/test pipes, CBE) and get it uprev tuned. If you REALLY looking for a power gain, it's called forced induction.. lol

edit: here's the part 2 of this thread!

I chose Tanabe because I only needed mid pipe back exhaust. I was hell bent on getting a catalytic converter back on with my LTH's and there was only one way to do it at that time. Now we have two options and both from Motordyne.

I've been very happy with the HKS, it looks great, has great clearance, sounds great with HFC's, makes decent power, and I love the agressive sound. I especially like the side branch resonators that keep the drone away at highway speeds. So far I can't really say there is anything that I haven't liked about it. I'd definately buy it again if I had to do it over again.

cons:
- it sets off my other cars alarm on cold starts!
- I would like exchangeable tip options (switch from burnt Ti to rolled SS etc.)

Althought the HKS does not include rolled tips, the CNT rolled tips fit the HKS and I think CNT is willing to sell just the tips if you ever want to change it up.

Sorry. The CNT tips DO NOT fit the HKS exhaust. I was the one who originally asked them to sell the tips separately and unfortunately their OD Is the same as the HKS ID. too bd cuz the tips were perfect! I had to return them.

Still looking for another vendor to offer HKS tip choices...
