Got the Berk installed today. I think its pretty much perfect and is exactly what I was looking for. Something that was a tad louder under acceleration but without drone under normal cruising. The Berk CBE is exactly that, no drone, no rasp almost stock like sound and look but when you get on the gas its like an exotic music coming from the engine. This is what I think the Z should have come like from the factory.

I bought mine from FBNissan, I will definately be doing business with them again. ALready thinking of adding some HFC's and other bits.

Berk is what you are looking for FI is too lound for what we want.

Thats what I am looking for also but I think for me the Berk HFC in addition to the CBE would be an even better sound. I am looking for a little noise at cruising RPMs from outside like when you hear a G35/37 drive by. I also heard the Berk has fitment issues with one side of the exhaust is sitting lower than another side. Do you have any pics or videos?

I'll take a closer look but if thats the case a small shot from my rubber mallet should fix that. They do stick out further than stock but other than that I didnt notice anything at first glance. I'll look at it tomorrow in the daylight and report back.

I'm with you I think I am gettting the berk HFC's next.

the berk sits level. at one point there was a hanger that was too short and would cause the mount to slip off. it's been fixed and there is no more issue with that. should fit just fine. just get it, u know u want it;)

just wanted to follow that I installed yesterday, smooth and ez. sound is exactly what I wanted WHEN I want it.
