Default Stillen g3 questions

I searched the forum andlooked through multiple threads on these intakes but nobody had talked about this so i have to ask this to clarify. On my past cars the location of the cold air intake sometimes made it get wet on ocassion and so it would need a intake sock or some sort of a release valve for water(not sure what thats called). Anyways does the stillen generation 3 cold air intakes need a intake sock or anything additional to what it comes with in order to prevent water from geting on it? Or is it protected from water as long as the rubber stripping between the hood and bumper is good?

Yes the Gen3 intake filters are in front of the radiator. But if you don't go swimming with your Z, it shouldn't be an issue.

It rains a lot in Brunei, and heavily too. But mine never have a problem. The only problem i got after install is dirty MAF but that's about it.

MAF cleaner to be exact. And one more thing, be very careful not to get the MAF sensors get dirty and you'll be good.
