Interesting Dyno numbers for AEM intake
So I installed an AEM intake a while ago but never had a before and after dyno. I know many of you want to know and I wanted to know so i did some browsing and came up with this. http://motoiq.com/magazine_articles/...ir-intake.aspx Motoiq showed impressive gains and I feel good about the choice I made :icon17: This is interesting because AEM only advertises a moderate 9 hp and 8 tq.

They were please to see it made 235hp :icon14:
wtf kinda z were they testing. idc if they rolled it on a mustang with sae corrected numbers thats still waaaaay low imo I mean that would be a 30% drivetrain loss.... something was wrong there |
I thought the actual numbers were not as significant as the change in whp. Well i think from 220whp to 235whp is pretty good increase.

agreed, but it makes me question the validity of the dyno

Mustang dyno's read extremely low when left in their original configuration.
Thats a prettty decent increase in power. Just about 7% increase in power. Not bad at all. |
