No the only variable was the exhaust.
Baseline with AEM Intake and stock exhaust

Test: AEM intake with ARK GRIP Exhaust.

Many on this forum understand that the power gains would have been larger if you did the testing on an all stock car so we wouldn't think about comparing these gains to those stated by say Stillen (+19) but many others who are less studied take the claims as gospil. If at all possible I would attempt to recreate your baseline comparission on a stock car and a dynojet. That combo will make your delta standout more. Anyway from someone who does not take posted HP gains as gospil just wanted to say very nice product it looks, sounds, and performs great. keep it up.

We are aware of this. However we wanted to make claims that have supporting evidence to what we tested. Rest assure that this will not be the last time we dyno the 370z. There are still many more to products to be made.

Default ARK vs HKS

Question for the ARK team -

I currently have the HKS Ti exhaust and am running a Stillen SC with PPI long tube headers and no CATs.

I like the power increase but don't like the drone - and am looking for a lower more gutteral sound while still maintaining performance.

Can you compare the two, and add some commentary regarding X pipes vs H pipes in a supercharged car.

Thanks
Bob

Thanks for the reply...I'm hearing a lot of good things re: ARK.

LOL ... pretty much anything performance related is a step up from the stock exhaust.
Adding a SC'r and CAT delete headers to the equasion changes things a whole bunch.
H vs X changes the exhaust flow which changes the performance and exhaust tone.

Had my fingers crossed and was hoping for some input who has had both on their cars to compare.

Glad you are are liking the ARK !
