By any chance does anyone know if a muffler delete is louder or the FI CBE with non-resonated pipes?

Are you just going for pure volume or does the type of sound matter to you also? Also, any goal for performance gains?

if going for pure volume i think that test pipes with muffler delete will be loudest. CBE would probably be best performance wise though. Just pulling off the muffler though will get you a couple hp, and make it much louder than stock. I've got video of how it sounds posted here and there on the forum. For an idea of how loud it is, I measured interior decibel levels of 80dB using my phone at a cruise.

loudest exhaust you can get would be test pipes + aam short tails. i am 23 and wanted a lot of volume and already had test pipes, i then put the short tails on started it up and HOOOOOOOLY **** was it loud.
started car and was like !! then i drove it and was all came home and took it off instantly and got a CNT system that night. now when i drive it im all

Test pipes would smell/: Well i like performance gains and also the loudness, if i order the FI CBE and maybe headers would it be perfect?
Also are the stillen headers good? or what kind of headers do you guys prefer? |

but for real, i havent ever noticed a smell from my test pipes.. but anyways, headers would be almost pointless without a tesp pipe or hfc behind them

if you want something loud that sounds awesome, forget the stillen shortys and get the FI long tubes paired up with the FI catback

i am actually not too picky on test pipes. i just went with a straight unresonated test pipes, and my CNT catback took care of the raspiness that you would get from tp's.
however, if i had the cash i would definately go with the FI long tubes as stated above

I love the sound of mine. I have the ebay Y pipe and muffler delete. To me personally is the best sounding cause its loud but not too loud. But i did try this plus the test pipes and its unbearable. Here is a video of mine.
