I hear a lot of chatter about name brands, K&N, Stillen, etc. and money being no object, I would definitely go that route. However, I just dropped north of 30g's for this car and now disposable income for mods and such is nearly non-existent. There are some CAIs that I see on EBay for $149.00, one in powder coated red that really looks nice. Everyone knows the saying "you get what you pay for", but a CAI kit Just looks like a couple tubes and some filters (which could likely be replaced by higher quality filters later). Has anyone had any experience with these inexpensive parts? Is there any reason, other than that they are of a lesser quality, that I shouldn't try them out? Could this cause any damage to the car?
