Default Stillen G3 CAI on 2012 with oil cooler

Not sure if this was asked and answered elsewhere, but I looked for a while and didn't see it anywhere.

I have a new 2012 370Z. I was wanting to install the Stillen Gen3 CAI, but I am concerned the new oil cooler on the 2012's will be in the way. Has anyone successfully installed this CAI on a 2012?

Thanks

Should be more than fine. I've only seen one pic of this oil cooler near the filter. Not syre where the lines run to though. Pretty sure there's not a actually cooler.

It's just a sandwich plate adapter with coolant lines going to it from the radiator I believe it was.

FYI - I have a '12 and had no issues whatsoever installing G3's or any other mods so far.

That's the power steering cooler I believe. Should have two hoses from the radiator to the oil filter housing. The oil cooler is inside the the radiator. Just like for an auto tranny.

Some people will just say anything to sound like they know what there talking about instead of just saying I don't know exactly. But yea that's the power steering cooler.

To the OP. We have installed Gen. 3's on quite a few 2012's already and have also had quite a few more dealerships install them. No problem at all!

You had dealerships do it? Do they allow this mod to go on by them and not void our warranty?

There are dealerships across the country installing our parts every day. Even outside the country actually...We have Nissan dealerships in New Zealand, Puerto Rico, and many other countries installing STILLEN product in their service departments.

In regards to the warranty, it all depends on the dealer. Chances are, if they're willing to install it, they're willing to warranty it. These days most dealerships have generally accepted that people will modify their vehicles, and it is their right to modify their vehicle without affecting the warranty. A cold air intake, cat-back exhaust and many other aftermarket parts will not affect your factory warranty. However, larger power adders such as NOS, superchargers, turbos, etc. will void your warranty. Basically, if the installation of that part caused damaged to another part of the car DEFINITIVELY, then your warranty is void. However, there is no dealership in the world that will win the argument that an intake caused any damage to another part of the car. For more information on this look up magnuson-moss warranty act:

Good to know i had talked to a service manager about it he said "hush hush but if you install the intakes and a problem happens and you put ur stock ones back on we will never know the difference". He mentioned that they did warrant a certain brand of intake but wouldnt tell me which one.

Is this oil cooler as efective as the aftermarket ones, like stillen, am, etc?

can it be installed on a 2011 model without having to do any huge mods? anyone knows the cost online of this kit?
