I have a bigger question but don't want to start a new thread since this could be used here as well. I just got my Evo-R diffuser today and after install I know people say that FI tips "won't fit" or they have to shave some of the diffuser to accommodate the larger tips (which I'm NOT going to do). Same question as the OP stated, NA, but that will fit with this specific diffuser without having to shave it down or be touching to where it burns the carbon fiber? I'm also going for the look, power, and loud, non raspy sound, more than caring about weight or price.... So please don't mention short tails even though I know they sound good.

IIRC, Berk CBE is actually heavier than stock, so for me, that's a no go.

IF the F.I. tips won't clear, what about the Amuse or Litespeed Racing titanium goodness?

^^ Truth. If you'd like more info, don't hesitate to call Tony. He will explain everything to you, even if you want to buy another exhaust.

Not many people on here run headers at all unless they are the Fast Intentions long tube headers, at which point passing emissions is gonna be impossible. Look into high flow cats, which will be more emissions friendly or test pipes if you dont mind having to swap them back out for the stock cats to pass emissions.
1. The first generation sat sort of low yes, but after being dropped 1" all around, and through crappy Arizona and California, New Mexico, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, etc. roads, I never once scraped. Knock on wood. 2nd generation F.I. exhausts now have the cans raised another 1" to negate this problem.

2. Headers aren't worth it if you're in a highly smog anal state yes. But if you want something that will give you even more power, and imo an awesome exhaust note no matter which exhaust you go with, headers are the way to go. Better flow than both test pipes and HFC's, more volume than HFC's and less rasp than test pipes. You'll have a distinctive note that will differentiate you from all the rest, if you're into being special.

3. Cost is subjective depending on taste and wallet. If you can afford to do it, and have the desire to get the most out of your n/a motor, then they're the way to go.

It's okay, doesn't give you the highest numbers. Burnt tips if you want that look. It does have a lot of Volume and Rasp to it though.

^^^ This is the best answer you can get.

Berks are not where the looks, sound, power of an F.I. setup is imo.

But that comes down to what sort of look do you want... = shaped cans or \ / shaped cans...

^^ This is good start! I run the agency power exhaust and it would clear the evo-r part no problem. I would suggest attending a few Z meets in your area and see/hear a few in person. A lot of the exhaust sound sooo much better in person then an exhaust audio clip.

given your priorities, you can pick up a second hand stillen, vivid/agency power, etc cat-back that would give you some power gain and be an easy first step bolt on... the stillen setup is heavy though, so might scratch off your list

might also think about running a single given you don't care too much about how it looks... will be the best for dropping weight and arguably for power

excited to see what Motordyne brings to the table when Tony's ready to unveil his 370 creation. i have a feeling there will be a new contender for the top spot (although it'll be an uphill battle on MD's part to catch up)

You'll notice also that people are also commenting mostly on Tony's customer service, which is another reason so many people go for F.I. They don't get that with other makers.

I'm interested to see MD's product, although I don't expect to see some drastic change in numbers, there really isn't too much else that can be done to increase power. I think based on all the brands we've seen so far, there is a good idea of the max power a CBE alone or CBE with intake and or HFC/TP will net you. But, I reserve judgement until the product his the market.
