Fast Intentions vs Stillen exhaust and headers hp gain comparison
 

I know this topic has come up often, but I can't seem to find which has the better hp gains. I know Fast Intentions is lighter in weight, so that's a plus. I haven't found anything comparing the headers....

Well the Stillen headers are shorties (they bolt up to the cats) and the FI are long tubes, which delete the cats and bolt right up to the mid pipe. So there's really not much to compare between the two of them.

So then the FI headers should produce more gain right? Are the exhausts about even?

The CBEs themselves are pretty close between FI and Stillen. The big difference is the quality of the FI and the weight. It's about half the weight of the stock system, if that, while the Stillen might be a tad heavier. The FI build quality is also quite a bit better... it's a very well done system.

Just keep in mind that the FI headers are not emissions legal if that is a concern to you.

I don't think it is, I live in MD.
