Burnt rubber smell?
Just installed my HFC/CBE exhaust. Took the car for a quick spin and noticed a burnt rubber smell. Opened the hood and the smell seems strongest in the aft end of the engine bay where the new cats reside. Anyone else had this smell when new cats were installed?

funky smells are normal after installing exhaust components, but probably still worth checking the area around the cats to ensure nothing is riding too close for comfort

Thanks lads. I was of the same thought that it is just a 'break-in' type of smell and will eventually fade away.
