As long as the Z1 HFC's are designed to end in stock location, they will fit our CBE just fine!

Thanks, Tony

What kind of hiss is experienced with the FI HFCs and TPs? I'm looking for a set soon and if the gain is negligible between the two, I'll be going with the one that produces the least hiss.

I just installed the FI Resonated HFC... might want to spend the extra$$ and get those...there's no equal. You get a very mellow bold sound (resonated) with NO performance compromise. Off the gas...* stealth mode*..on the gas..it rears it's head and let's you and everyone else know what's up.

Here's a pic compared to stock:

Like I just said in previous post...get the RESONATED FI HFC...ZERO HISS..ZERO RASP. This is the ONLY HFC that eliminates those.. and no performance loss. Take a look at the pic I posted..a work of art. Sound is amazing with my Gemini CB.

Should work very well with stock exhaust..this is the QUIETEST option you can get with an HFC. Keep in mind, this is also a 300 cell core..vs 200 on others like Berk, so that will also contribute to keeping hiss and rasp and a mimimum. I see you're asking about *negligibile* differences in gains between TP and HFCs...well, TPs are gonna give you around 5 more HP than an HFC, but TPs are a completley different animal. MUCH louder and you'll get exhaust smell. Night and day. Depends on what you're looking for. FI also has a resonated TP, but it's still gonna be louder and produce smell. If you're *sensitive* to sounds and noise levels (and smell), don't get a TP.

Noise level doesn't bother me at all. I'm actually looking to make the stock tone a little louder/deeper. I do care about the annoying hiss I have heard in a lot of videos. Rasp and loudness are fine, hiss no thx.

Those resonated HFC's look nice but the wife may chop my head off for spending the extra loot. Hmmmmm

The RHFC's will have less (hiss). The hiss becomes greater as more back pressure is relieved. The RHFC's are more restrictive than test pipes so hence, less hiss.

As soon as you are ready to place an order or have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me directly...

Thank you, Tony

What kind of price are we talking for the F.I. resonated HFC's?

Here's a VID:

FI Exhaust and FI HFC (not resonated) vs Nismo CB with Megan RESONATED TPs. You can see how raspy and loud the Resonated TP is compared to FI HFC (NON Resonated). Resonated HFC would be even MELLOWER (I have FI Resonated).

Infinti g35 coupe - nismo catback exhaust (after test pipes) - YouTube

BTW..I already gave you answer on relative HP gains TP vs HFC. I suggest you search if you want to get more in depth on that topic.
