Best Place to Buy HKS Hi-Power?

Now that I finally got my car, it's time to start modding. I would like to get ahold of an HKS Hi-Power exhaust and am wondering what the best vendor is. Thanks in advance.

They don't appear to carry it.

Fred Beans Nissan parts had the best deal on the site when I shopped around and bought mine last June. Jomer is the guy I talked too.

I am not sure it comes in full TI. I think the tips are TI. Not 100% on that, but based on the internet browsing I have done, that seems to be the case.

I bought mine from Nick in February. He had the best deal at the time. I have no idea what they're going for now though. It's a nice exhaust but wasn't for me....

Interesting that you went from HKS to FI, which is something I am now waffling over. Can you tell me what your impressions of each are? Thanks. :tiphat:

The HKS isn't 2.5", it's 60mm and doesn't give you results as good as FI, plus it's too raspy for my tastes when you add test pipes. I found the Motordyne ART pipes to be the best solution to is problem. It's okay with stock cats. It still wasnt loud enough for me and surely wasnt deep enough The FI is much deeper and louder even with 18" resonators. The HKS looks much better IMHO.

Im planning to go with a turbo kit really soon and needed a better flowing exhaust with larger pipe. I sold my HKS to my room mate and I get to see/hear it everyday still lol. The FI exhaust is extremely loud and annoying at 90mph cruising, 80 is just fine. The HKS sounds stock on the interstate and I wanted something a bit louder.

Many people on here cut off the HKS resonators to make it louder because it's so darn quiet, but then becomes raspy.

I've never gotten a single compliment on my FI exhaust, whereas I got daily compliments on the HKS exhaust in person.

If you want HP results and music to your ears then go with FI. If you want looks and a calm exhaust go with HKS.

Go to YouTube and type Footloose301 and you can hear my videos with each exhaust.

Fast intention Long tubes + HKS exhaust = Amazing trust me I know :)

If you plan on lowering your car at all even just an inch you will scrape your FI exhaust...HKS sits higher. that was the deciding factor for me....

Not true. Bought mine from jnaut. He had it for more than a year and never scraped, I haven't scraped in the 3 months I've had it either. Im lowered more than an inch.

I'd like to hear your setup with the long tubes. I would have bought them but my ultimate plan is to go turbo so I skipped the long tubes for now. If the turbo doesn't happen then I'll buy long tube headers.
