The HKS isn't 2.5", it's 60mm and doesn't give you results as good as FI, plus it's too raspy for my tastes when you add test pipes. I found the Motordyne ART pipes to be the best solution to is problem. It's okay with stock cats. It still wasnt loud enough for me and surely wasnt deep enough The FI is much deeper and louder even with 18" resonators. The HKS looks much better IMHO.

Im planning to go with a turbo kit really soon and needed a better flowing exhaust with larger pipe. I sold my HKS to my room mate and I get to see/hear it everyday still lol. The FI exhaust is extremely loud and annoying at 90mph cruising, 80 is just fine. The HKS sounds stock on the interstate and I wanted something a bit louder.

Many people on here cut off the HKS resonators to make it louder because it's so darn quiet, but then becomes raspy.

I've never gotten a single compliment on my FI exhaust, whereas I got daily compliments on the HKS exhaust in person.

If you want HP results and music to your ears then go with FI. If you want looks and a calm exhaust go with HKS.
