He also said that his cost would include Everything you'd need to do it, including (if possible) his strut bar.

At GTM, just buying the manifold alone sets you back $2k. And they haven't even produced a strut bar mock up yet... :ugh2:

Not to mention, it was just for the lulz...

thank you all for the good feedback !

as I have already installed the STILLEN intake piping which is slightly larger than stock there should be enough air flow.

for the strut bar this is one of the next things on the todo list 2gether with getting the car tuned via OSIRIS.

as for pricing I have not yet calculated anything. The only thing I can tell currently is that I have paid well over US$6000 (not taking my time into account) in total to make this conversion happen so I fear it will not go for 200 bucks but is well in the 4digit area.

To be honest this mod is from my opinion for people who have done every possible mod you can do to an NA car or even super/turbocharged it and just want this icing on the cake to make it perfect.

Just to give you an idea only the welding took about 2 hours plus about 3 hours of hand-polish/grind the runners for perfect flow. This part even though it is "only" an adapter to make a plenum from another car fit is very complex (5 axis CNC for radius conversion) and not just a cheap "3 flange plates plus 6 pipes".

Please bear with me with the pricing as my current goal is to make the tune perfect and proof what gain can actually be achieved - after everything is 100% finished, tested and discussed I will offer you a group buy no question.

Thank you !

Chris

Post #368 to my response of selling the plate for $200 (I was jk of course) But his response was towards the price of just the plate. Not everything else included.

I already spoke to one shop near me to modify the GTR manifold I currently have to fit and they are asking 1250. That is not including the strut bar or enabling this manifold for direct injection. I was hoping to get a pm back from the OP materials and measurements but it's been a few weeks now and no answer.

For meth/nitrous, or are you talking about fuel?

I messaged OP as well looking for info on this. My dad is a machinist here in the states and sells CNC, Vertical/Horizontal Lathes, and Drill and tap machines. I showed him the images and he said it wouldn't cost much in materials to have these made up. Would gladly help get this project going. There are several machine shops that owe him favors.

Ask dad rough dimension of 17" lenght by 5" width and 5" depth box is the rough size of the adpater.

How much would it be to has out #20?

That would be great man sounds like a good deal. Problem is OP is not coming on the forum, I hope it's just he doesn't have time not something bad has happened.

I wouldn't lose faith just yet. We know he gets busy and will go long stints without an appearance only to show up and make us all have to clean off our keyboards and screens.

it's not the material that is expensive it's the time. When dealing in aluminum we drill, cut, machine with carbide only. If I could get dimensions I could possible get a half dozen or so done for free as part of a sales demonstration to his clients.
