Painting?

Thinking about painting my Stillen G3's. Sick of cleaning them, and now it does not get all the way clean, they look dirty all the time! I want to paint

Default Painting?

Thinking about painting my Stillen G3's. Sick of cleaning them, and now it does not get all the way clean, they look dirty all the time! I want to paint them my self to safe money... Any ideas on what paint to use, and how to go about it? Like do i need to sand it and stuff. I think a textured look would be really cool, almost like a black plasti dip look. Let me know what you guys think

Since they are aluminum and polished why don't you look into getting them anodized!

It would look killer and hold up really well.

Thanks, Tony

Had my intakes professionally painted by a friend of mine. He did a fair amount of prepwork... I wouldn't do it yourself. I went with the body matched color (40th Quartz) but if I had to do it again I would have went with a contrasting look like red.

You can get the wrinkle finish paint at any auto parts store. I did a bunch of valve covers with the wrinkle red and wrinkle black in high school. Made tons of money off that

Here's some shots:
