I don't think front airbags are really necessary... I had an aftermarket steering wheel on my last car and got into an accident. No harm to me or my dogs. I think seat belt saves lives.

I think that if you removed all the glass in the car as well as those big heavy bumpers/airbags/seat belts/ intrusion beams that the government insist on making us lug around it would be like gaining 10-20whp. Oh man that would be "unique" although you would loose a little bit of your "secret".

Truth hurts
if you're a HP junky...YA CAN'T RESIST.
My take on this particular mod (5Hp??)...crash bar removal is a no no, FI guys remove it for the IC...but that's for 100HP!:bowrofl:

Taking out and/or replacing structural crash components to gain 5hp is not smart (incredibly stupid, but I'm trying to be nice). You could lighten the car if you remove all the body panels. One could also get better cabin airflow if you cut holes in the firewall. That doesn't mean you should do it. Use your head, be safe, and leave your bumper alone.

Well... anyway, I'm very curious to see dynos that verify this... if so, the end user can decide how much the extra whp matters.
