Stillen Gen 3 Mod
So i dunno if anyone has done this, but me and my buddy are considering it. While installing my gen 3 intakes, we noticed if we used a little but if extra piping to hook the cone around impact bar, it would sit lower in the bumper about where the air comes up. Anyone ever done this?

I'm sure Stillen's R&D process resulted in putting those filters at the optimal location for airflow. Idk though, you may have just stumbled across the Gen 4 haha.
BTW, just noticed you're from CC... I was born in Corpus and have family down there still ;) How's the Z scene down there? |
that's what i was wondering too. it just seems like if they sat lower, it would sit right behind the air inlet of the front bumper.
bah, there's a few 350's, even less 370's. i'd like to build up a little group/scene. would be nice. only one other guy's hit me up on here. |
I have a few mods to the Gen 3's, there is plenty of room for improvement. They do NOT breathe well where they sit normally. I would not add length to the pipes though, they are tuned to a specific length by Stillen for a reason. Be creative and its amazing how much untapped power you can find just waiting to be let out.
