^ The mid pipe and y-pipe I have are pretty much identical to GThaus. I've had both on my car now and the Gthaus rear is a slightly different sound...sounds more like a ferrari or Porsche while my setup is more of a raw sound..it would be amazing if I was boosted.
The video is uploading now

Thanks  It's awesome because you can control whether it's loud or not. Not very much drone either.

blacknismoZ 11-26-2011 09:21 AM

Damn sound really good!!!! I think I'll steal your Idea! Lol

Skeeterbop 11-26-2011 11:22 AM

hmmm, any rolling video? I've contemplated having a X-pipe welded up and run a true dual exhaust from the cats back to the short tails.

I'll try to get one. It sounds great rolling...but the wind is blowing 60mph today so a video probably wont happen.

That's cool, I'm in no hurry. I'm actually still waiting for my short tails to get here. I'm hoping to have them on by next friday though. I know video doesn't do any exhaust justice, but just how big a difference am i going to see in volume? I'm expecting a pretty large difference

svt to 370z 11-26-2011 08:41 PM

did you notice any gains with your short tail or are they mainly just for sound? Will the car pass on e check with no mufflers? I don;t think it will in ohio but i might be wrong

Skeeterbop 11-26-2011 09:11 PM

Depends on whether local law requires a muffler. Technically a muffler isn't doing anything to reduce emissions, so it shouldn't impact your emissions. The only problem you should run into is a ticket for a loud exhaust.

VQStryker 11-26-2011 09:15 PM

muffler does exactly what the name says...muffles. The cat-converter is what reduces emissions along with the factory tune

There is a gain up top and quite a bit of weight shaved off. The Short tails increased the sound about 50%. Not enough to get you pulled over or in trouble in any way, but paired with the resonators deleted it's about an 85% increase in sound. Which will defiantly catch everybody's attention...even if they are 4 miles away lol me and my friend tested how far he could hear me.

Haha, sounds as if it will be about as loud as my old MR-2. You could hear it for a couple miles if i was getting on it. I'm going to try getting before and after videos so people can compare stock to muffler delete using the same recording device in the same location.

KingZee 11-26-2011 09:50 PM

damn, that's loud.
