Which exhausts sound the best? Owner preference?

I wanted to change mine. I did not know which one makes the best sound. Loud but beautiful not like rough or harsh sound. Can anybody tell me which one

This is a VERY subjective way of asking this. Your best bet is to meet other Z drivers that have different setups and listen to them and decide which is the best to YOU. Each owner is going to say their setup is the best cause that's what they wanted. They may have different interests than you.

A better way of asking would be to figure out a few things:

1. How much are you looking/willing to spend?
2. How important to you is Sound?
3. How important to you are Looks?
4. How important to you are Performance?

Once you've answered those, people can give you a more realistic perspective on what might be the best setup for you. Also, what are your states emission laws as that will have some impact on your setup options as well.

Personally, I think Fast Intentions Long Tube Headers and 18" Resonated CBE is the best.

@ Chris

Thank you for the comment. I will think about the answer to those questions.

Anybody use Amuse R1000?

Thank you

AMUSE R1000 single exit exhaust review

I personally have the Fast Intentions CBE 18 res and HFC setup. Some days i find it perfect and somedays i think i should have went 12 res when the exhaust warms up it quiets down but still a deep roar. WOT sounds amazing. Tunnel runs with the window down sounds beautiful. to each their own. ask around

Frankly speaking, our V6's sound[even mine is fitted with H.K.S.-Hi-Power] still cannot match the sound of BMW in line 6's sound, anyway the best sound a car can produced are still the Italian...

Personally I love my Fast Intentions non resonated exhaust, it's pretty loud with my HFCs but I love it. the quality and customer service that come with the exhaust make it worth every penny and it's still almost half the price of the HKS system. Mine will be up for sale in a few months...

I'm excited for the Motordyne exhaust! Wait for it before buying anything.

I'm flirting with the idea of removing my resonators from my Greddy exhaust. Ive already have the silencers pulled with test pipes. just wonder what that would be like. Not worried about sound. Just don't want to lose any numbers such as TQ.

TopSpeed Non-Resonated! Best priced exhaust on the market and until youve heard one in person you wont understand. Zero rasp, zero drone and its deep. Makes our cars sound like they are supposed to

My personal favorite is the Invidia with ART Pipes. Sounds glorious, without even a hint of rice. It's what I ended up picking after doing all of my research and I am VERY happy with it.

Though, I do suggest waiting to see how the MotorDyne exhaust turns out. It'll likely be amazing.
